Hi /r/cars
I have been looking for a second car for ages now. I check craigslist and the newspapers everyday. I came across a post today on Craigslist for a 2012 Chevy Cruze with 96k miles, a chip in the windshield and a dent in the fender for $3.7k
My car right now is a 2011 Chevy Cruze and I'm paying 13k at the dealer, I have 3 years left on my loan! And now I turn around and find a 2011 Cruze on Craigslist for a third of the cost just because of 96k miles and a chip in the windshield???
So I took a trusted mechanic with me to go see this car. It is mechanically sound. Drives like it should. Transmission and engine are okay.
Is this car worth buying? I think it is, and I have the money for it, but I don't want to jump the gun if it's not worth buying.
Thanks!
