Bought a 2002 WRX for pretty cheap and it has a blowoff valve of some kind. It also came with a catless downpipe
In order to get a sticker , I recently installed a grimmspeed divorced wastegate downpipe with a catalytic converter.
Immediately after installing this along with a catback exhaust, I noticed occasional and random tranny knocking.
NEVER had this before. Could these be related in anyway?
Are blowoff valves and downpipes even related?
Hindsight being 20-20 I should've purchased something more stock but the price was right.
a side note is that the clutch the previous owner installed definitely was not done properly.
