I'm a 26 year old engineer with a very boring, but very dependable '05 Saturn ION (with only 73k miles) that is dying to get something a bit more fun. I've been looking in the $20k-$30k range of Fiesta STs and GTIs, and making payments for a car and insurance won't be a worry for me while still putting a lot in savings & retirement funds each month.
I don't drive an exceptional amount, so my ION won't even break 100k miles for a couple more years. At what point do you folks say "live a little" and indulge a bit, even when it's not the most frugal option?
