In my experience spark plug sockets usually have a magnet or an o-ring in them for gripping the spark plug. This one has these metal flaps. How does this work? I'm planning to order a bunch to use at a few local shops that work on BMW's, but I've just never seen this type before. I just imagine the plug getting stuck and never coming out
