Changed out my distributor on my Honda Accord...

Honestly, I've never touched a car part in my life. Oil changes always done at a shop.

I started having car issues last month. Around 3000 rpm my car would jerk violently and wouldn't shift. My Rpms would jump around. Letting off the gas allowed it to gear up. Check engine light came on. P1381. Referred to a sensor. Little bit of Google research into forums I was certain it had to be my distributor.

Grabbed a used one yesterday for $100 at a local junk yard shop. They wanted $110 to install. Can't be too hard considering it's accessible from the top of the hood. Decline the install and took it home. Popped open YouTube and found what I was looking for. A perfect tutorial explaining what to do. Okay let's try it. With 45 minutes I had the old one out and new one in. Reset the check engine light and tested my car. Praise the lord! All is working!

Never really realized how bad shops can rip you off if you're willing to let them. Thankfully I didn't pay them for anything except the part!
