Hey /r/cars!
I'm looking at a 1997 1.8 NA Miata with some bits on it and I was a bit concerned about the power. I've driven one around town and the lack of power is something to get used to however I've never driven one on canyon or backroads.
I know a lot of people have said that they're so much fun but I was wondering how much of that is hype versus actual fun. Are these a blast on backroads? I've been looking into a possible turbo kit for the 1.8 just for that little extra boost.
I'd love to hear from people who have owned Miata's about this and just what they think of the car in general!
