I'm moving across country in a few weeks. Last time I did this I spent a couple grand on a budget rental truck and gas for said truck.
This time, I have a lot less to move and could easily fit it all on a small trailer. I have a 2001 trans am with an aftermarket cam and full exhaust. Plenty of torque for a small trailer.
I have found that Curt and Uhaul both sell a hitch setup with all equipment for the same price. Which of these two is a better quality hitch? Are there other brands that you would recommend over these two?
Are there any other problems that I may come across? This should work with my exhaust, and 4 out of the 6 bolt holes are already there so I can easily do this myself (I can drill the other two). I plan to use a flatbed trailer to keep the wind from pulling me around since I obviously won't have the same weight as a truck.
Edit, I actually just found a thread saying uhaul's trailer hitch is actually a rebranded curt hitch haha no wonder they're the same price
