This last weekend the MI Gumball Rally drove around the whole state of MI. We started in Grand Rapids, went up the Mackinac Bridge, around the UP and all the way back down to Dearborn to end the rally at the Automotive Hall of Fame.
Out of the 3 rallies I've been in this was by far the best organized and had the most variety of cars. As a driver I was happy to see that most of the other drivers were mature and not just there to street race people. We ended up racing at a drag strip, on the MI raceway and at an air strip.
On the air strip I managed to get my S4 up to 140 according to my speedo and GPS.
Last but not least, we made it through the whole rally with only 1 car needing major repairs. Challenger threw a rod and the car had to be limped back to be trucked home last I heard.
Bonus: a pic of my S4 with a Porsche 4S and a new C7 Vett. Audi S4 hanging with some friends
