I was pulling out of stopping by an alignment shop to get some tires I bought off of Tirerack mounted on my rear wheels. I had barely traveled 20 feet on the new tires (and these are big grippy summer tires on dry hot pavement) and I go to step on it (not too hard) to get out into traffic and embarrassingly... spun out my rear end with a screech. What happened? I seem to have plenty of grip now. Do those colored marks they put on the new tires interfere with traction or something?
