What would happen if you adapted an air compressor tank to the air intake of a naturally aspirated car? If you could regulate the amount of air to safely match the engine load, could you get the same effects as a turbo charger?

Obviously it would need to be a huge tank (100 gal?) and have a way to power the pump to fill the tank. Would you get more HP than the videos of people attaching leaf blowers to their intake?

Also, what if you did this to a currently turbo charged car?
