I'm in the market for a convertible. And I have had so much venom spat at me for it!
They tell me "oh but they're not as rigid" or "they're not as good at the fixed tops!".
Or that convertibles are useless.
Or that " this car isn't as good as it could be get X(which is much less comfortable, more expensive, and not as nice)."
My biggest point is: Why don't car enthusiasts realize that buying a daily driver for its maximum potential performance, when in all reality you're never going to get close, is a stupid idea? I love Mustangs. If I can find one for the price I'm gonna get one, no questions asked.
But I'm told that "oh the Miata is better in every way!".
