Hi friends! I've never done any work on my car before. My brother unfortunately hydroplaned yesterday and completely ripped off the passenger side mirror. I've ordered a replacement as well as primer, paint, and clear coat as well as sandpaper. I've also ordered bondo and everything with it to repair some scratches on the bumper and side.
I've never done this before so I'd appreciate some insight/tips/tricks/whatever.

When I was a little girl my dad used to do all the repair work on our cars, so all credit to you for taking on this challenge when most people would just take it to the body repair shop at the garage. Unfortunately I'm not technically qualified to give you advice but just wanted to give moral support and encouragement.
