Can anyone with intel or experience with magnetic shocks tell me the durability of this technology?
From what I've read there are 'no moving components' so 'nothing to break', but I don't understand how this is true when the pictures show what to me looks like the same device as a typical shock only with the magnetic fluid. I do believe that they may be more durable than a typical shock, but I've found no proof of this. I also would like to know approximately how durable. I commute to work (half highway and half city), and I know this is going to be quite an expensive repair when it does hit.
The vehicle I'm considering is a 2015 Buick Verano, which I have been told has this technology.
